  God’s love is a consuming fire. Through God’s grace we can enter into His life, but first, we must purify ourselves from all that would separate Him from His love. 

  If we want to be Christlike, we must be prepared to suffer with Christ. If we want to enter into God’s glory, we must also be willing to enter into His suffering.   

From the Old Testament to the New, Scripture is clear that our actions in this life determine our eternal life. But in God’s mercy, He offers us the chance to atone for our sins in purgatory even after death.
